R.W. Brother George Macdougall honored with the 2026 ASCE Citizen Engineer Award

RW Brother George MacDougall receives the ASCE Citizen Engineer Award R.W. Brother George Macdougall was recently honored as the Maine Section, American Society of Civil Engineers 2026 Citizen Engineer! George was recognized for his contributions to the practice of civil engineering through his active involvement in the greater community. Actively involved with the Maine Masonic College since its inception, George has been instrumental in developing the committed bond the College shares with the University of Maine History Department and has been a tireless advocate for Masonic education and the fraternity in general. R.W. Brother Macdougall served as Grand Marshal of the Grand Lodge of Maine from 1997-1998, was elected Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Maine from 1998-1999 and has served on various committees for many years. George is employed by the Maine Department of Transportation as a Contracts and Specifications Engineer.
