Robert W. Landry
Brother Landry joined Corinthian Lodge in 1962, and served as it’s Master, five times, in 1970, 71, 76, 77, & 78. He is a dual member of Meridian Splendor Lodge #49, AF & AM of Newport. He also holds membership in MG Henry Knox Lodge of Boston, Massachusetts.
Bob is a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Portland. He is a member of the York Rite Bodies and belongs to Ira Berry Royal Arch Chapter #57 of Pittsfield, Mt. Lebanon Council #13 R&S Masters of Oakland, and DeMolay Commandery #10 of Skowhegan. He is a member of the Anah Shrine and serves as an Emeritus Member of the Highlander Degree Team. Brother Landry is a member and Past Patron of evening Star Chapter #189 Order of the Eastern Star of Hartland. He is a member of the Portland Chapter #92, National Sojourners, and the Gen. Henry Knox Camp, Heroes of ’76. Bob is also a charter member of Maine’s first High Twelve Club in Augusta, and is Past President of the Past District Deputies Association.
Brother Landry has served the Grand Lodge of Maine as District Deputy Grand Master of the 22nd District, having been appointed by MW Roger Snelling. In 1999, MW Brian Paradis appointed him an Assistant Grand Lecturer, and in 2000 and 2001 MW Wayne T. Adams and in 2002 and 2003 MW Charles E. Ridlon, and in 2004 MW Claire V. Tusch, each appointed him as The Grand Lecturer. At the May 2005 Communication of Grand Lodge Bob was elected Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Maine. He was appointed to serve on the Board of Regents of the Maine Masonic College, and is the Treasurer of the Board.
Brother Landry graduated from Hartland Academy. He is married to Diane Ballard Landry, who is a Past District Deputy Grand Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star. Bob and Diane have two children, a daughter and a son. His daughter, Dr. Lisa Landry Flynn is a Professor of Accounting at New York State University in Oneonta. LCRD Adam Landry, U.S. Navy Ret. works at Naval Intelligence Headquarters in Washington, DC. Brother Adam is a member of our Craft in Corinthian Lodge of Hartland, Maine.
Bob recently retired from SAPPI Paper Company of Hinckley, Maine, after twenty-four years of service. Bob has served his community as an Assistant Fire Chief, a Little League Baseball coach, and a Boy Scout Leader.
