Papers

Since its formation, the Maine Lodge of Research has been privileged to have had many notable research works presented at its meetings and for consideration in the publication of its annual Transactions.

On our site, we've selected just a few of these excellent works:

RUSSIAN FREEMASONRY: A NEW DAWN - AN OVERVIEW FROM 1731 TO 1996 by Richard Rhoda gives an excellent review of the many twists and turns Maosnry has experienced in a country often beset with change.

RELIGIOUS TOLERATION FROM THE CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE by Bishop Joseph J. Gerry, Roman Catholic Bishop of Portland, Maine was part of a year when the Maine Lodge of Research examined world views from the perspective of various religions.

SWEDENBORG, THE MAN, THE RELIGION AND THE RITE by produced by William G. Peacher on the occasion of his reception as the Maine Lodge of Research's tenth Fellow. It provides an excellent resource for understanding the entirety of this subject.

BELOVED PHYSICIAN: ABNER SHAW, 20TH MAINE by Charles W. Plummer

FROM MAINE TO CANADA TO AUSTRALIA - MASONIC IDEALS AND PUNISHMENT IN 1830 by Wallace MacLeod.

Addresses to the Maine Lodge of Research on RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE by DR. EL BEAGEARMI and RABBI WEBER.

From time to time, we'll add more material here for your education and enjoyment.
