Grand Master's Appeal for Relief in Haiti
The tragedy and chaos caused by the earthquakes in Haiti grip us all as the reports of loss of life and property continue to overwhelm us with the immensity of this disaster. Our Brothers in the Grand Orient D’Haiti desperately need assistance as they work with their communities in trying to rebuild their shattered lives. Americans have shown that they are really wonderful, caring, and generous people. And Masons are no exception.
Our Grand Secretary has been in contact with the Masonic Service Association and has received a written appeal from Richard E. Fletcher, their Executive Secretary, in which he asks that all donations made by Masons or Masonic Lodges be sent through their respective Grand Lodge office to the Masonic Service Association. Fully 100 percent of the monies sent to the Association will go to relief in Haiti.
Any Mason and/or Masonic Lodge that wishes to make a donation toward relief in Haiti should make their check out to the: Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation with a notation Haiti Relief Fund. Your donation will be tax deductable. Please mail your contribution to the:
Grand Treasurer
Grand Lodge of Maine, A.F. & A.M.

All of the funds collected by the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation will be forwarded to the Masonic Service Association. Brethren, thank you for your kind donations and may God bless you.
Most sincerely and fraternally,
M. W. Robert R. Landry
